    Kevin Breel

    Kevin Breel is a writer, stand up comic and activist for mental health. As a writer, he’s contributed to The Huffington Post and CNN. As a stand up comic, he’s become one of the youngest performing acts in Canadian history. As a mental health advocate, he’s been seen on media outlets all around the world- including CBC, CTV, MTV and The TODAY Show on NBC. His TEDx talk titled “Confessions of a Depressed Comic” went instantly viral online with more than half a million views in less than 30 days. Now it’s one of the most watched TED talks of all time with nearly 2 million views; along side talks from Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, and Seth Godin. Bringing warmth and unparalleled in to the topics people tend not to talk about, Kevin has become an in demand speaker at colleges and events throughout North America.

    Currently, Kevin has dedicated the entire year to doing an international speaking tour to talk about mental health. The tour stops in more than 15 States and 3 Provinces.

    Yale Breslin is a freelance fashion/cultural writer who knows his way around the fashion industry. As the former Digital Director of V Magazine and VMAN Magazine, Breslin has contributed (and continues to contribute) to internationally recognized publications and online endeavors such as:, T: The New York Times Style MagazineWonderlandCool HuntingRalph Lauren Magazine, Vogue China, Goop and many more. Yale was poached to work for Jay Z's website Life+Times – where he handles all style/culture content. Most recently, Yale signed on to be the Editor in Chief of Industrie Magazine.     Laura Sliwin

    Laura Sliwin (MSc. Psychology. Dipl. TCPP) is a child and adolescent psychotherapist with over 25 years of experience. She has completed extensive and specialized training in child and adolescent development and assessment, therapeutic techniques, work with parents, and consultation with teachers and other professionals. Laura runs her own private practice in Toronto. She is a member of the Canadian Association of Psychoanalytic Child Therapists. Laura has witnessed firsthand how mental health difficulties affect children, youth, and their families and is very excited about being on the Board of Advisors for The Dialogue Projects.
